"The Same Star" (Ukrainian: Скажи мені - Skazhy Meni, Tell Me) is a single by Ruslana, featured on her 2004 studio album Wild Dances. The arrangement and recording were done by EGO WORKS /HIT FACTORY, Miami, USA. Ruslana devoted The Same Star to her husband, the love of her life. Ruslana: “ Before my husband and I were married, the whole world seemed to be against us. Together, we overcame difficulties to protect our love and to stay together. Now, whenever we are apart, my husband and I promise to look at the same star…. Look for the star in the sky, And know that I am looking at it… ” Ruslana performed "The Same Star", as well as "Heart on Fire", at the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest that was held in Kiev, Ukraine, thanks to her success at the 2004 Eurovision Song Contest.
