Barbara Mason (born 9 August 1947, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) is an American R&B/soul singer best known for her 1965 hit song, "Yes, I'm Ready". Barbara Mason's classic oldies song "Yes I'm Ready" is an example of easy listening music before "easy listening" was known. At the time, it was considered to be a love song in old school freestyle disco ...a popular favorite in music jams. Her song is a love tune rivaling the classical soul r&b jazz being heard in the world at the time.
