"Never My Love" is a song written by American siblings Donald and Richard Addrisi, who recorded under the name the Addrisi Brothers and had two Top 40 hits as singers. They are best known as the songwriters of "Never My Love", which has been recorded by many artists and was picked by Broadcast Music Incorporated as the second most-played song, on radio and television, of the 20th century. The first recording of "Never My Love" that achieved chart success was by the Association, an American pop-rock band from California. Their version of the song peaked at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in late 1967, one of the band's five Top 10 hits in the late 1960s. It was featured on the band's album, Insight Out, and is played frequently on radio stations with an "oldies" format.
